Adoption of Local Dog Parks, Trails, and Open Spaces Duty Free Pets believes that local governments provide valuable resources for dogs and their guardians. We want to help keep these areas enjoyable for the dogs and people that use them. While most dog owners are responsible and clean up after their pets we also know that it is impossible for people to pick up every load their dog deposits on our community land. These left over loads are an eye sore, displeasing for the nose, danger to local vegetation, and a main contaminant of local waters.
Local parks, trail, and open space adoptions are one way we help our communities. We adopt areas such as the Community Dog Park in Louisville, Colorado cleaning the leftovers not removed by pet owners on a monthly basis.

Duty Free Pets believes in strength through community. We believe in giving back to the towns, people, and pets in Colorado. DFP takes a proactive role in making lives better for people and pets in the communities we service. We would like to encourage community land management including local city and state government agencies to contact us to see how we can help make your community a better place for the people and pets that live there. The following are ways we contribute to our local communities, people, and pets.
Other Donations Duty Free Pets also encourages local NO KILL shelters, humane societies, and organizers of pet friendly events to contact us to see how we can help with your needs. DFP has donated gift certificates for service to local charity auctions like the Denver Dumb Friends League (DDFL) Pledges for Pets Online Auction and encourage other organizations with like events to contact us.
We encourage you to contact us to discuss how we can donate our Duty Free Pets Colorado Pooper Scooper / Pet Waste Removal service to help make your event free of dog poop and coordinate the donation of dog poop bags so people can responsibly pick up after their dogs.
